Five Elements Yoga

  • Yoga in Dedaun 193 Jalan Ampang Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, 55000 Malaysia (map)

Five Yin/ Yang Yoga routines with Lene. Each of them with the intention to tune in and align ourselves with the natural energy flow of one of the Elements of Life: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal.

In Taoist philosophy, the Five Elements are associated with phases in the cycles of Nature/ Life as well as the health of specific organs, emotional and mental states and virtues. Over the five sessions we will address the complete body with our physical practice and look within to explore the Elements of our inner landscape.

Yin/ Yang Yoga

Lene’s Yin/ Yang Yoga sessions combine passive and active postures with breathing techniques and meditation. The Yang parts of the session consist of warming, dynamic, fluid sequences which target muscle and blood, while the Yin parts of the session apply restful, deep, rejuvenating postures which target connective tissue (ligaments, tendons & fascia).

With the intention to cultivate awareness and enhance the flow of vital energy to maintain and restore the natural balance of body, mind and spirit, Lene’s Yin/ Yang Yoga sessions are playful and make a deep, integrated and satisfying practice.
