About Vivienne

Vivienne is a product of 15 years of formal ballet training after which yoga seemed a natural progression for her. She has been a practitioner of the different schools such as Hatha, Iyengar and Vinyasa Flow since 1999. Having attended classes, retreats and Teacher Training sessions under the renowned Yin master Sarah Powers. 

Her one-and-a-half hour classes, besides having mindfulness as the underlying theme, are often infused with wacky comments, the by-products of her off-beat sense of humour. Please do not say that you hadn’t been warned.

Vivienne teaches in Dedaun in Ampang/ KLCC. 

 

Yin/ Yang yoga

A session that incorporates active, yang poses with what is fundamentally a yin yoga practice.    These yin/yang yoga sessions combine active and passive postures with breathing techniques and short meditation sequences.  The yang parts of the session consist of dynamic yet fluid sequences that are aimed at mobilising muscle and blood, while the long, restful yin poses target the connective tissues, ligaments, tendons and fascia.  Regular attendance often results in increased physical flexibility and mental awareness.
